He is trying to say in this quote is that everybody have a little bit of madness and you can still use it for a purpose. That madness can give you creativity and good things out of it.

“Time is the best teacher, but unfortunately it kills all of its students.”

The second quote from Robin Williams tells that you learn new things over time, but at some point in your life the times runs out. When I was little I used to think that the time would never run out, but unfortunately it has to. We can’t help the fact that time will run out at some point.

Lady Gaga

“I’m not perfect, I just think imperfections are beautiful.” This quote from Lady Gaga tells me that just because you are not perfect doesn’t mean that your are not beautiful in every way possible. http://www.quotesgram.com

“You will never find what your looking for in love, if you don’t love yourself.” In this quote she was trying to say that if you never love yourself you will never be in a healthy relationship.

Artistic Statement

To me, art is a way to express your feelings. Both Robin Williams and Lady Gaga did that by their acting and music. Art can be expressed in different ways like, theater, drawing,  comedy, or music. Art can be fun, depressing, exciting, and confusing but I love it. The art that’s for me manly is theater and singing.

I can reflect to the first quote  because it explains how little things can be so important. There are certain things that make people happy and when you have those things life is amazing. Little things matter whether its music or paintings all these things can make a huge difference.

“If you put good will out there it’s amazing what can be accomplished”

When you try your hardest for what you want there is a high chance you will accomplish it. i believe this quote shows that Paul wanted to make people happy no matter what happened he would try his hardest to make people happy,  his work and his spare time was all dedicated to making people happy. All of his foundations that help people. These things made him happy so by making movies he was just trying to make people happy.

George RR Martin

“A reader lives a thousand lives before they die, the man who never reads lives only once”

George RR Martin’s quote means a lot to me because it is so true. Books are a form of art and by reading them you are experiencing a world and an imagination that the author has created. Reading is like an escape and by escaping we can explore these worlds that if written correctly can be just as vivid as the one we live in.

“Every flight begins with a fall”

This quote is like a poem its so small yet it tells a huge story. this quote is saying that you need to learn from your mistakes and have them to make you a better person. When we make mistakes and we fall down this allows us to be better

Artistic statement –  I believe that art is a form of expressing your emotions. the artist puts there emotions into a piece of art for you to feel. Art makes the viewers have emotions too and it is up to you to figure out what exactly art makes you feel.

Dr. Seuss

The first quote i pick from him is  “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”. He is trying to say that you get upset when you look at the past like it gone and you get upset, but you really should just look at it and be happy that it happened and not dwell on the past.

The second quote i picked is “ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”. Hes saying that you should be you no matter what people think. You should do or say what you want and if people don’t like you or dislike you then they shouldn’t matter to you. If people don’t care how you act and how you talk and stuff them they should matter to you because they are not going to judge you like others.

Will smith

The first quote from Will Smith is “For me, there is nothing more valuable than how people feel in a movie theater about a movie”. He cares for the people who watching his creations. He care if they like the movie so he can work on how to make movies in the future better.

The second quote is “There is no reasons for plan B because it distracts you from plan A”. He saying that you shouldn’t doubt yourself. You will succeed in the first plan if  you’re not thinking on what you should do when your plans fail.

Artistic Statement-

Dr. Seuss and Will Smith are amazing people when it comes to art. Although they expressed themselves in very different ways, they had one objective in particular which was to make people happy and to entertain. With Dr. Seuss his way was by writing books and movies, and with Will Smith it was with Music and acting. These artists are my Inspiration in life and someday i would like to make an impact on the world just like they did.
