Values of Theater

“Superheroes fill a gap in the pop culture psyche, similar to the role of Greek mythology. There isn’t really anything else that does the job in modern terms. For me, Batman is the one that can most clearly be taken seriously.”—Christopher Nolan

The way that superheroes are seen in the public eye causes them to been seen as gods to the average person. He believes that the work of his movies cause people to feel and act a certain way, when talking about a superhero referring to there stories. He also believes there is nothing that is admired in the same way by people today.

“I don’t particularly enjoy watching films in 3D because I think that a well-shot and well-projected film has a very three-dimensional quality to it, so I’m somewhat sceptical of the technology.”—Christopher Nolan

The use of three-dimensional technology to help a movie get the desired effect on a shot is not necessary. He believes that if a well shot film is presented in the correct way then the use of three-dimensional technology is not needed for the project.

“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”– Pablo Picasso

Art is a way to help a person get a clean start.

“Art is the elimination of the unnecessary.” -Pablo Picasso

Art can help simplify views of someone.

Making art is not just people opinions but the influences around them. Everybody will have their own opinion on everything. People opinions are formed from the influence around them as a child and through their adulthood. The one thing that is hard with art is trying to please everybody because everybody has different influences and everybody has their own opinion. When you make a piece art you’re not going to have everyones support behind you. No matter if it’s a song, movie, play, or even a painting. That’s what makes art original, it comes from a persons experience and perspective and so no two original artworks are going to be the same.
