Muse is an English rock band from Teignmouth, Devon, formed in 1994. The band consists of Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals, keyboards) and Dominic Howard (drums, percussion).

“We are defined by the fact that we can’t be defined by anyone”-Muse

I think that this quote says that ourselfes and the Art that we make can only be defined by ourselfes and not others, because we put our selfes into our Art work. Others may try to define it themselves, but only we truly know what it represents.

“During the struggle they will pull us down, but please, please let’s use this chance to turn things around” – Muse

This quote means that eventhough others may criticize our work and bring us down we should always bring ourselfes up. We should work harder on our next project and try to be even better.

“Nothing to me feels as good as laughing incredibly hard.”- Steve Carell

What Steve is saying Comedy can be Art too, making people laugh and you laughing can take a well thought joke. If we just laughed at everything a joke wouldnt be a joke. Comedy has to be made and thought off just like a song.

“I don’t think of being funny as a job, I think of it as a hobby.”- Steve Carell

This quote is saying that Comedy/Art is something you want to do and like to do.Art can bring yourself joy and others also.

I think that art is something that is creative and fun, that can bring yourself joy and others joy. Even though your creation might not become big and famous that doesnt mean that it cant be art. Just beacause someone doesnt like your creation doesn’t mean its not art. If you had fun making it and you’re proud if it that’s what art truly is.
